Last September 15 i had the opportunity to photograph the concert "uprising of LOVE" see link here. 

It was a great pleasure to help out friend and director Schele Williams and the whole team of Uprising of Love and at the same time collaborate to a great cause.

I was surprised and shocked by the horrific stories of discrimination and abuse told by young gay activist from Sochi Vladislav Slavski who recently obtained a visa to come and study her in the US and I hope that his strength and example can change the way LGBT people are perceived in his country.

During the day I also had the pleasure to meet my longtime idol Sting and photograph closely his rehearsal session and those of the other great participants among whom Billy Porter,  Ryan Shaw, Andrew Lippa from I'm Harvey Milk and the cast of Once and Witness Uganda.
